Here's to the Moms

Today I am reminded of the amazing mothers that I've met during my time as a teacher and tutor.

Here’s to the mothers Who fight for their children Who fight for assessments And accommodations And interventions And education And justice And understanding Here’s to the mothers Who build up their children Who wipe away their tears And shoulder their burdens And celebrate their abilities And praise their efforts And see their strengths And believe in them

​I see you- I see your struggles, your efforts, your pain, your pride. I appreciate you, and I know your kids do too!
